, like most illegal sexual activities, is just wrong on so many levels

I rest my case......

Take a small bag for condoms etc to a club, saw this on another thread and followed it last night,it was great advice!
Last night i died and went to heaven, going again next week biggrin

Glad you had a great time..... pick me up on the wy next week then... lol kidding....
but it does also bring up one of my biggest pet peeves which is the amount of people who go to clubs "unprepared"... the amount of times I have been asked by other guys if I have any spare condoms is sad and quite frightening....
I glad that you took your own to protect yourself... but in a way they will never learn unless someone turns round as says no....
I have live up in the north east..... and geordies/mackems/smoggies.... ya all sound the same!!!! bolt
seriously though... after about 10 years now... I am finally sussing it all out........
I got to grade 6 in piano (I did jazz rather than classical)
couldn't do it now to save my life
I remember you guys talking about it... so I watched it last night...
Simply stunning.... (you are all right about the HD by the way!!! lol )
that is public service broadcasting at its best.... its the type of show no one else makes....

Couldn't disagree with anything said above. I do wonder if this site is much use at all in terms of meeting people as a single guy? I've found the number of responses to polite, genuine emails to be incredibly low. The vast majority do not reply after reading, even to say no thanks. Perhaps the numbers of time wasters are so great that people have given up. You might have more luck at good club, especially if you are picky.
Dave

as somes who was been here for the best part of 5 years I can tell you that yes it does would.... but as some of other people has pointed out and stressed you do get out what you put in.....
what makes someone for example stand out from the crowd....
do you use the local chatrooms, do you make the effort to make yourself known for example?
do you go to the local socials and munches? they are a great way of networking with people you may not normally come across in a non-play atmosphere...
the site does give you all the tools to make it work... from all the above, so working on a good profile, a good advert, and pics.....it is just a case of getting it all to work for you...
hope that helps....

+1 :gagged:
make that +2...
All I will say is that If I feel that one half of the couple is being pressured, be that the male or female half then it is not a situation I want to be part of! It's not nice......
And then there are those couples who believe they are doing you "a favour" by meeting..... being a single being treated like a piece of meat is not a nice experience.....
oh well... so much for the gag.....
lol

Where do you get that fact from? Ignorant & backward? Not sure about that.
When a Muslim posse abuses returning UK forces on a British High Street and no one cares or listens then perfectly normal and respectable people who do themselves know right from wroong become motivated to look for an answer. The vast majority of BNP supporters are neither ignorant, nor backward - they are just angry at how white middle class england is becoming positively discriminated against.
The mainstream parties should and could do something about this but fear of a "racist" label prevents real and meaningful policy.
On a broader note about the thread generally I think it is good and healthy that his appearence got everyone talking about BNP and inevitably race. It needs to be spoken about and not hidden in the bottom drawer. This event made news in the USA as well as the UK !!
The United Kingdom has always been a multicultural society - god, how far do we go back? Are you only really British if your descendants were here after the Romans? Why not before the Romans? Wait a minute does that mean we are really half French? Or shall we limit the real Brits to those of Druid origin?
The BNP are RIGHT to demand an immigration review (about the only thing they are right about). Let's embrace that idea and talk about it - why not?

but if you are going to use the muslim protesters as an example.. I'll ask you exactly the same question I asked kenty when he tried to use it as a cross section muslim society and opinion.....
how many people we actually at that demo in luton???
it was according to reports somewhere between 12 and 15.....
so if I get that many swingers and we protest about something... are we speaking for the entire community now.... of course not......
of course that demo was roundly condemned by the muslim council of great britian... but that was ignored by most sections of the media because that doesn't fit in with there perceptions.....
If QT didn't go Nick Griffin's way of course he was going to scream "witchhunt" (which I found an interested choice of word since the subject of him, david duke and the KKK were mentioned) "bias" and "victim" cards were going to be dragged out
and on the one current topic that was brought up... "the jan moir/stephen gateley" affair, he went into a diatribe of not liking gays, and finding two men kissing in public creepy.....
yeah!!! way to help ya public image nick!!!!

If I support the BNP - am I then a thug? How do you qualify that, or is the whole phrase just something you've copied from somewhere for dramatic effect? I've also highlighted a word above that you seem to have glossed over - did you miss that important part?
As for you being comprised of 4 ethnic origins - lucky you, you'll have the choice of 5 countries to live in.
Woo hoo for you!!!

Voluntary.... yey, so can I ask what happens if I decide not to go to "my ethnic origin" would I be treated as a 3rd class citizen????
so does this mean you'll send me back to the states with a wad full of cash?? get in there!!!!

the above line was full of sarcasm....
My grandfather fought for this country and stayed here...
my mum has spent all of her working life here as a nurse, and in important parts of medicine
my dad spent a lot of time here as a doctor and a surgeon,
my sister is a teacher....
and yet, rather then using all of that skill and knowledge you'd rather turn away people with skills solely based on the colour of ones skin.... wow.... just wow.....
I so said to myself, don't get involved in this discussion.... but I just couldn't help it.....
okay.... Someone had to start the discussion.... lol
do you Agree with the BBC inviting "that" party leader onto the programme?
As you can imagine, I don't agree with what he says, but as an advocate of free speak I'll defender his right to say it, as long as it lies within the letter of the law, and as long as he is aware that his words and actions may provoked actions within others, and those are within the letter of the law as well then I am fine with that...
Saying that... I hope he gets exposed for the "one trick pony" he is.. and he falls flat on his face..... as attacking army generals and his fellow panalist before even getting on the show isn't helping his case...
I am afraid I am going to have to pull out of the social... had me shifts change on the rota and am now scheduled to work...
gutted but you all have a good time for me.....

I prefer the independant.. But Its not a bad 2nd read...

Can anyone suggest a good brand of condom, I have always been wary of buying anything other than Durex but that are not really comfortable.
Thanks !

they should fit regardless of the size... but if you are really struggling then look for "trojan" condoms... they work for me fine....
I have a family size bag of galaxy minstrels I am working thru...... god they are good...

I was top... but i had a few injury non playing issues... so had a look, saw who the people around me had and decided to take an 8 point penalty...
it was fun being in the lead.....
jeremy kyle/maury/trisha...... i just like the way that people think that are always smart enough to beat a lie detector.... or its a great way of finding out who are the worst deadbeat dads....

well said splendid---sad and true.
Fab thank you for the heads up on the disgusting foul hate filled filth in the daily scum. The old "public interest" excuse again i see.

Hmmm, how does one equate to calling a certain newspaper a rag and speaking of its readers in a derogatory fashion, yet admit to like watching a TV programme that delights in exploiting the most underprivilaged in our society? dunno
thanks max... at least direct it to me if you have a problem with what I wrote....do me that decency at least.
The daily circulation figures for the sun or "that rag" as max to exception to, is just over 3 million... I don't read it... others do.....
I only came across that article as it is doing the rounds on various swinging websites today....
"the sun" and its sister paper "the news of the world" have been doing expose's and outing swinger for years on years on years.... if you have been on here long enough, it got to the stage where on a saturday night/sunday morning, you would come on here and would be guessing either who they had exposed/outed, which club they had gotten secret cameras into, or lured headlines they would be using to try and increase there sells....
so while they have "journo" of a certain ilk working at it... swinging will never be accepted, and don't you the "public interest" angle because they have used that to destroy lives and clubs
so excuse me for having distain for that rag... and the sensational way they operate, I have had the same distain for the past 20 years with the stories they write
I never said anything about the people who read it, so please don't put words in my mouth.....
guilty pleasures..... okay..
I admit I actually do like watching Jeremy Kyle....
and I do like a bit of "chas and dave" sometimes....
Heck.... I have even been known to watch "sex and the city" while eating a tub of ice cream...
is that enough for one day.......smile
well swinging ever become socially acceptable... not when people who write for the masses do something like this...

not that I read the rag (leave that to other people) it does though bring up the point that if people are going write in this fashion, then it has no chance,

when you go to the USA they have literally hundreds and most are pay channels with boxes ?????
as soon as the american bashing started, you know i'd be here...smile if we are going to bring american tv into the discussion then at least get a few things straight
so tav.....ahem...hello.... sky... virgin media... ntl... telewest... do they not all provide "pay tv" services...in fact, if you want to stretch it then all the over ARE pay tv services....
and our govt in its quest to be little america will probably follow up this garbage idea
Actually... this time it is the UK leading in the field of the digital revoulution... for example.. sky sports and sky movies
so what we watch now will possibly get worse

that may be so... but i have loads move choice... and not all of it is worse.. it is a lot more diverse and you'll find something for everyone..
but the licence will still have to go up

but thats a different arguement to the one you were orginally making.... but i'll bite... in what way is the BBC not fulfilling its public service remit.... remember the license fee doesn't just go on TV, it goes to radio as well
possibly to pay for new bentlys for the news readers and dale winton of course
swiftly getting out my old bush post war radio ... to listen to the archers :P :P

the archers... would that not be on BBC radio 4... which your license fee pays for... so you have found it covers something you like... hmmmmm wink
trav..
can i get my arse into gear and ask for a hotel list....
thanks...
i think i have been dumped... lol lol
I am trying to work out how to do this while not outing out a member of this site....
gosh its hard.... lol
anyway.. they had an article in a newspaper about them, and all the girls in my office were talking about it.....
it took me all of my energy to stop myself from saying "oooh i know "them" "....
I think the older members of the site may guess who i am talking about....
have i managed to cover it well.....

Wellll...
Since the Forum is now happily ready to accept slagging off us fat, ugly, disabled folk as all in all jolly good fun, harmless and entertaining I don't see what's wrong with this thread either.
After all, it is what makes the Forum go round isn't it? For the good of the site and all that...
It's just a post, the same as all the others. Or are you hinting some people shouldn't be allowed their opinion?
Gosh, must stop. Being far too provocative. ;-)
For what it's worth, I don't know if Brucie is a troll or not (I said his name! Oh lordy, strike me down!). I just despise arrogant, opinionated rudeness and won't overlook it simply because I want to fuck that person or find them attractive physically or intimidating intellectually.
But by the same token, I see no point in making an issue of it either as it just adds credence to his more hurtful statements and gives him the attention (nay, adulation of some) that he seems to crave.
Certainly as a ploy to stir things up and get himself noticed (and a following) it has worked very well, so you can't argue with results. Most people seem quite chuffed the forum seems to be buzzing again, so who therefore gives a toss if it offended a lot of people in the process? (Well I do, but I'm in the minority)
I just don't agree with how he achieved that initially. But hey ho, each to their own. Different strokes for different folks and all that. I'll try and rebuild my shattered life and move on. I can't really take issue with it. When I joined, I made a lot of noise, but chose to try and be funny and amusing. I've no doubt that annoyed just as many people as what Brucie did, but I would hope that it didn't offend.
Incidentally, different opinions have nothing to do with it. Opinions are fine, it is how you state them. Brucie could easily have said what he wanted to positively, perhaps stating he had a preference for young attractive ladies of a certain dress size. He didn't do that because it would not have got anywhere near the response. It may have been his different opinion, different take on attractiveness, but it was stated in a deliberately inflammatory, hurtful and controversial way designed to provoke and annoy. It worked well on that score, but to justify it as being "different opinions" is a bit lame. It's like saying Stalin had a different opinion to Lenin, or Hitler to Churchill, Gandhi to the Raj, Jeremy Kyle to most sane, reasonable people...
I could say my opinion is that all thin girls are anorexic drug addicts. Or that all black men are pimps all Bisexual people are just stupid and indecisive. I'd be shot down in flames for that and rightly so. But it is the same. An opinion. Just a different view of the world that some people don't agree with, which is apparently their problem for rushing to take offence, rather than mine.
In the end though, the Forum is a happy place, Brucie saved the world, some people love him and want his babies. Others hate him. Conflict breeds posts. Job done and it seems most folk are happy with it. The majority holds sway. Life goes on.
I just feel sorry for those folk who have basically been told "Yeah, you took offence or disagreed with what was stated, but please shut up and stop biting back at him. He's gorgeous don't you know!" For them to be cast as the pantomime villains of the piece, or slated as being "a forum bore" is, in my opinion, wrong and unfair. People have a right to express their opinion, even if they are supposedly fat and ugly.
It's that general perception, far moreso than Brucie's posts, that has bothered me a little.
But that's perhaps my problem and I've dealt with it and did so without feeling the need to lash out at a person or group of people to state it. That may seem paradoxical given that I've stated this here, but I'd hope that this comes across as intended, a gentle rational explanation of my feelings on the whole topic as raised by Mrs B and how events of the last few days have unfolded, rather than an attention seeking blast aimed at one person or a cross section of the forum.

I am glad you said it... because I have been thinking exactly the same thing..... which is why i just can't be bothered with it all, and if this is what the forum is going to descend to, then quite frankly its not one i want to be part off...
I was trying to think was is the difference between him and the last forum troll/attention whore "truescorpio" ... and the answer in my head is nothing, they both went about it the same way, both annoyed and upset people... both made grossly inaccurate statements..
heck some of those with larger personalities seem to fancy him... he gets a pass for all the nasty things he said, so much for consistancy.... mind you i suppose that say as much about them
well.. for me, an arse is an arse is an arse....... and I am not going to change that opinion....
I don't drink at all when I am in a club, and I think it is almost a running joke at social/munches that I'll only drink shandy or if I am really good a pint...
mind you I think I have seen so many drunk people in clubs that I have been put off drinking for good.... In fact I have seen one person so hammered that they actually fell down a huge flight of stairs...
