What I like about this idea is that road tax dodging becomes obsolete overnight. Those that do not like paying the disc in the window have to buy fuel to move the car
Dave_Notts

Or nick it !!!
J & S
Ahhhhh but that is not tax avoidance, but pure and simple theft. There is already a law for that
Dave_Notts
There's also a law for tax avoidance, but that still doesn't stop it from happening.
No law has ever stopped anything from happening. It is down to the individual not to break the law. Law just means you will be punished if caught. In this instance though, the tax is on the fuel and not a disc. It is easier to drive with no disc than no fuel
Dave_Notts
Yes, but car tax dodgers don't effect the individual, but having your petrol cap broken into and you petrol stolen will.

i seem to recall from history books that the usa put sanctions on Japanese goods and made them more expensive, while making american products cheeper, so the american peeple would buy cheeper american goods.
the result?
the bombing of pearl harbour and japan and america going to war with the loss of one or to lives.blink
i think exporters to britain would be slightly pissed off if we started discounting british goods, so as to make it harder for them to sell there goods here. a great idea.

No, Japan invaded China, so America had an oil embargo slapped on them. No one was to sell them oil. Other resource embargoes were also issued but the oil was the biggy.

Not worth thinking about? Did they actually say that? The North / South divide is growing alarmingly. Four times as many jobs are being lost in the North as elsewhere in the country, and accelerating:

We should not be surprised. The country is effectively run for the benefit of those living in the South when a Tory govt is in power because that's their main constituency. The Labour voting North is less important to them. Thus it was, thus it ever shall be.

Swings and roundabouts then.

Anyway like Mr Clarkson, I was being humorous. where is your sense of humour?

The difference being, that Clarkson actually is humerous!
Is he dunno
Yes!
In your opinion.
Who else's opinion would I give? :dunno:
BTW, there are currently a lot of people in a BBC studio laughing as I type. They obviously think so too!
I think the other two are funnier.

So your solution Rob is that we protect tenants from exploitative landlords by forcing them to move to lower quality accomodation owned by even worse landlords? Seems to be a flaw in your logic there fella, dontcha think?
I take it everyone is aware that the vast majority of those living in London in receipt of Housing Benefit actually work for a living? What do those tenants do if they're forced to move to an area beyond travelling distance from their place of employment? Give up their jobs and sign on? That'll save money won't it. Oh no, wait . . .

Is it not also possible Neil, that these tenants may not even need to move, once these greedy landlords realise they maybe left with empty properties, then charging sensible prices for rent, maybe the only solution to getting the mortgage on the property they own paid. Sensible rent paid, mortgage paid, no greedy profit made.

Poland surrendered, so the Poles no longer had to fight. These people decided/chose to fight for Britain. They were fed, clothed, paid by Britain to protect us not their homeland. They had a choice, and they choose to fight for Britain, in our uniform and with our munitions.
Dave_Notts

Poland didn't surrender, they retreated! Eventually making it to their allies, us, so yes they did have a good reason for fighting, yes they played a major part in the battle of britain but they were not just doing it for us Brits. We should be no more thankful to them as they should be to us.

And the relevance of this?

i think we alredy asked that one mr blue.
do we now thank everyone who has done us a good turn since the beginning of time? how far do we go with this?
I know but it don't make any sense to me
If we follow this flaud logic, every one now in Poland are wonderful because they were on our side during WWII, that makes every one in Germany bad because they were not dunno
I need it explained, must be thicker than I thought
We declared war on Germany because of of their invasion of Poland, so it wasn't exactly something we started so the good old Poles could come to our rescue! They were fighting for their own existance so they didn't really have a choice but fight.
Yep, got all that. My point is, if the children and grandchildren are all good because of the side their ancestors fought on, by default that makes all the children and grandchildren of those on the opposing side bad??????
Honestly, i didn't see the relevence of Nott's comments either, and i don't really care who is good all bad. I know i quoted you but i was aiming my comments at Nott's.
I went alittle bit off on one there! lol

Bloody Poles. What good have they ever done for this country....................except fight in the Battle of Britain and saved us
Dave_Notts

Oh yeah i remember that...wasn't that when Germany invaded Britain and Poland declared war on Germany.rolleyes

You make a contribution, possibly half...so who gets the room till next day? dunno

the person that has actually booked it?
usualy you cannot just go into a hotel on say a saturday night and get a room there and then. usualy it has to be booked and paid for in advance, so the person who has booked it in my opinion.
if they booked it, and they are staying in it, they can fucking well pay for it! wink

Paying to enter a swingers club is an entry fee to a private members club, sex is between consenting adults and not relevant to your current post.
However, you were asking for payment on those wishing to mess with Moniques puss as a contribution towards money you laid out elsewhere. Payment such as that 'could' be seen as paying for sexual services. Wiggle as much as you like but it was you that typed it. Maybe next time you'll think of putting it differently.
j

ok how about i put it like this.(note, not clubs, their private houses..)
"It's time again for another great party.....guys £30 couples £20 single ladies £10"
or
"Private house party........normal fee £10"
and I didn't ask for cash for sex, I asked if it would be fair to ask for a "voluntary contribution towards costs"..I think I put it perfectly.
If we ever go to a club or private party that charges, we never play with the hosts, well you can't charge people then expect to play with them, cake and eat it springs to mind!

Now, we are not talking about you couples on here, and I do realise that some married men lie!
But I asked around at work and was astonished at how many women don't shag their husbands, and surprisingly young women too.
Obviously young children are exhausting, and I suppose the novelty wears off with any partner, so I can see why marital sex would slow down over the years, or have ups and downs.
But one work colleague in her mid-thirties seriously said "I've got two kids, what do I need to shag him for?".
Erm, because he's your husband? Because he works hard to pay for you and the kids and it might make him happy? Because men need sex to feel loved? Because he'll get it elsewhere if you don't?? Because that's the deal when you're married?
Now, some husbands are probably nasty, in which case wives should divorce them and move on, not sit living on their money and giving nothing to return!
I've never been married, so am I missing something really obvious here???

Have you considered, that they may just not want to answer your intrusive, inappropriate questioning honestly, so just say, what they say, just so they don't have to answer any further intrusive, inappropriate questioning about what their favourite sex positions are after? dunno
" You put your left leg in, your left leg out, in out in out you shake it all about, you do the hokey pokey and you turn around...and thats what its all about!!"

The traveller's site near us is exceeding its planning permission and making a mockery of the planning laws BUT it is far cleaner and tidier than the adjacent lorry park which is a total tip. dunno

Maybe thats because they could be using homeless and vulnerable men to clean up their site!

" have you seen the riots in greece lately...!!!
We have all know we need to cut and tighten our belts.....but I do fear when the cuts are to quick and to deep. People are going to be thrown onto the unemployment scrap heap, at a time very their chances of finding alternative employment is low !! Its a dangerous cocktail of situations that leads to a large amount of people desperate and without hope. I will not be surprised if come next summer, we have full scale riots on our streets !! "
above is what I wrote in september of 2010
I repeated the warning in this thread about the student riots in November 2010:
http://www.swingingheaven.co.uk/swingers-forum/viewtopicpage/342514/60.html
when i said:
" firstly let me say.....I do not condone and never will condone violence.
However I said in another thread.....that to watch for a 2011 year of unrest and a summer of riots. So many people will be thrown out of work....they will be fighting for their own and their families survival .... this is not just public sector workers. I work for a large multi national company...or should I say I did !! We had a meeting a week ago and they stated that due to the change in government and its policys they have had a economic projection for the UK done. The answer is they came back with is a double dip recession is forcast for 2011....without doubt. Therefore they have decided to cut their UK work force by 25%. Just so happens one is me. Many more across the country will follow. A large number of people all feeling threatened and scared for their familes future........yep I think you will find these student riots were small fry, to what you are going to see this coming year !!!! "
I have warned for a while now that the streets were a tinder box of frustration. What it wanted was a spark. And I'm sorry to say this will spread across the country to most major cities. This is just the start....things will become worse.
None of the above is an excuse for the blatant, mindless damage and violence and criminality that is going on. I utterly and totally deplore it.
All I saying is I can not see why people are surprised by this. I hate to say it...but I did warn you ...twice actually!!

remember when i asked if you could get any further up your own arse? well looks like the answer was yes...

tony montana is kind of cool as well.. " I'm Tony Montana! You fuck with me, you fuckin' with the best! "

But didn't he have an unhealthy interest in his sister? dunno
He didn't like her in any incenstuous way. He was just very. protective of her. Like way too protective of her that it seemed like he wanted her, and she wasn't 12 wink
I think it's quite cool that he was over protective towards his sister. with all the shootings and evil in the world what was happening in cuba. he had to look after her.
family life are very important to the Italians
He wasn't Italian...he was Cuban!:dunno:

I wouldn’t post on the forum again sorry, I posted a few weeks ago and had two or three in particular that just commented on my subject just to cause problems that in the end the moderator had to stop postings, I appreciate we are all entitled to opinions but I feel there is a minority that come on here just to cause problems !!!!!
Then have the nerve to say it was me and it was only a bit of banter they know that was BOLLOX it was to wind people up and cause a row.
It’s not a problem as it made my mind up not to subscribe to SH when my renewal is due, I don’t need shit like that.

Oh yeah, you were the guy that nearly bit another forumite's head just because they had the cheek to post a little humour in your thread. You get someone's back up expect the consequencies, you didn't have to be so harsh and thats why people came down on you. So don't make out your some kind of victim! You just came across a right miserable old cunt!
