hi didnt you like my pm? i offered but you didnt reply. What is it you're looking for guys?
hi could u give me more details, could do tonite, or is it too late now? TB
why was the 6-man gb thread locked?
we have someone interested, thanks.
bfn cool
hi simon,
i did get a woman interested first (33yo), then started a push for the guys, but she pulled out, and not wanting to waste the guys I got together i advertised on the ads section for a few days, no luck, so tried the forum, this thread is the result.
i did suggest a pre-meet first, just didn't make it clear really - or perhaps I should ask to pre-meet with the woman before putting in an ad?
i was personally opening my house up for this fun.
lots of interest here gives me hope wink
im now curious to know if i hadn't mentioned an age preference would this have made a difference?
i'll be around at Manchester Pride ;-)
cheers TB cool
naughtynympos1, yours and others input has been really useful thanks :-)
appreciated wink
i guess i'll get on with some decorating instead over the weekend, lol, and go to Pride events in Manchester with friends
is there a place where peeps from the forum will meet up over the weekend?
cool
hiya all
well-busty, thanks for sharing that cool
people are fearing the worst; i suppose that's sensible;
don't gb's happen? or do they only happen amongst people who know each other well or get paid? or perhaps its best the lady organises it?
i've quite enjoyed the chat on this issue, and think i might get to know a bit more about this forum.
take care y'all smile
8-) TB
happy to wait gingerjo xx
cool
will look out for that, will u post details on the forum?
tb cool
naughtynympos, ok point taken, didn't mean it like that though, it's just a preference, one swinger of 33 contacted me and I said yes :-)
so gingerjo pm me if you're up for it ;-)
me not cross freckledbird cool i woz smiling at replies lol
no fees at all ;-)
TB 8-)
just repeat the age bit of the ad again, still aint got the hang of how to put original ads up in the reply confused
'prefer 18-26 but anyone over welcome to try, and couples welcome'
so pm me if interested :-)
cool TB
how old are you sexyjo? happy to consider anyone outside the range :-) the 18-26 is an 'ideal' that's all. Can't we dream and hope? If you don't ask you never know.
Originally a 33 year old lady was lined up for this, genuinely, but pulled out, hence this ad.
i've seen ads of women this age seeking gb's but none seem to live around the Manchester area, that's all.
i fully appreciate the safety issue, so a lady with a partner would be welcome :-)
Don't gb's happen? I'd like to feel everyone was sensible about what they're getting into with gb. Or has anybody got any horror stories?
And the reason for seeking 8 is because I don't expect everyone to actually turn up - and if they do my bedroom is big enough :-)
cool TB
very funny rotflmao it just wont go ahead if we dont get the girl, and I know there will be women interested in this, wait your replies!! cool TB
There are 6 of us all 40ish + over, now we need the woman, is that you, are you up for it? Prefer 18-26 but anyone over welcome to try, and couples welcome. Priority is finding the woman for the meet, but also open to a couple more guys, contact me with pic, event at my house, this Saturday evening, in north manchester. thanks. TB
This rarely happens but the 00:55 entry (26/05) ad number 294026 from Cowley (Oxon), there are 13 ads above this all entered/updated within 15 mins of each other, all quite short ads, though from different places, and all on 'women seeking men', which is highly suspicious - have i uncovered the scam ads here?
Cheers
TB cool
Hi Jags
Yeah, think I'll start doing that as getting 'em kind of spoils the evening sad
I have reported to you occasionally and you've responded good so I'd never diss ya...75% though *sigh* kinda takes up your spare time?
Take care
TB cool
Thanks duncanlondon for your honesty smile
I think that's how most people see it - even the most welcoming - ok for a short time but not for the long haul. A minority will not want to know from the beginning while another minority would be ok, as long as they got on with you personally.
Peope would consider I am a disabled person (though I wouldn't go along with the label) so I do have experience wink
I've advertised as such, and even advertised asking to meet disabled women but it hasn't made a jot of difference.
Happy Swinging!

two times today, and no idea which were the original ads I replied to that forwarded me to paysites (so can't alert the moderators) but it keeps happening (one was Harrieta and I didn't reply to an ad going by that name for example) - any others having same experience? so many short ads on the woman seeking men SH lately, all looking very similar 'this sounds like a cool site', 'this sounds like exactly what i'm looking for' etc.
come to think of it does any genuine guy who comes to the cafe have *several* successful meets on the free ads (I've had 1 in two years)?
no chance of knowing if it's a genuine female or a devious paysite operator trying to lure us to their site.
the replyer states they get 100s of timewasters, picture collectors, morons etc, from SH so they search for a paysite that guys pay for and then get genuine replies, etc.
personally though, I have had replies, some obviously genuine people uncertain of meeting, but most one liners obviously not seriously in it.
thanks anyway for SH efforts at keeping it going, it is appreciated and this is in no way a dig at you cool
TB wink
ps and *please* don't ask me to forward the person who put the ad up and sent me to a paysite as I've no idea who it is; they are hiding their identity well, and have probably gone away anyway. It's a scam that I guess is part and parcel of a free ads site and we genuine guys will just have to live with it.
Jags
I don't post dick pics but can try and understand why guys do - prob fed up that sending a face foto and a nice warm friendly e-mail gets absolutely no-where so they go with the dick to try to at least get a reaction...
Tiger confused
I agree with Dean; actually in my case 90% of replies I'm getting are redirected to pay sites mad - how can we report the ad if it has already disappeared, because they only reply once their ad has been removed?
I feel I have come to 'suss' the fakes, but clearly not quite got there yet: it is impossible to know which ones are fake and which are genuine; I have just checked the reply I got inviting me to join another site to make further contact and it's already gone from SH.
Do I still send the email I got from this person and would it be of much help now anyway?
Do let us know!
This is becoming tiresome though, but interestingly several of those who send me an email state they are fed up with getting timewasters on SH and want to find genuine guys; and presumably they think those who pay are more likely to be genuine. I'm not sure how true that is, or if that's just a ploy to get us to sign up!
I have never joined any other site from any of these ads, and I have reported ads in the past that asked me for payment, but these ones are evasive...and annoying...
They obviously are not getting much luck within these paysites if they need to come on SH to advertise themselves (and where they are absolutely guaranteed to get overloaded with replies...hey it's free!). I was emailing my one experience and she has given up on putting in a free ad because of being so overwhelmed and now just checks out the men seeking women ads section and finds what she wants there.
I'm sure the free ads are working for a lot of people, but in my experience they have been largely unproductive, except for one experience ;-)
This is not a complaint; I am not a hardcore swinger or free ads or desperado... I mainly send an ad and send replies with an open mind and in hope rather than desperation. I think that's the best way to look at the free ads really, rather than take it too seriously. The forum, to me, is the soul of this site and where the real thing is at.
The redirecting to pay sites does piss me off though, but I guess if you're an open and free site that's to be expected (and btw this is not an argument for making it unfree)
Good luck to you all.

21...lost it with someone 8 years older than me - she said she felt like she was in The Graduate, lol
but
Had an absolute fab time pretending to a neighbour I was gonna shag with an American girl I'd met, called her 'Cloey Lime', when I was 14. My brother told neighbours it was true. We even pretended to see her walking by when we were on a bus :P
I was staying away somewhere else that night and even acted it out as if it was really happening, need I say more lol!
lol
cool
Well yes I agree it's best to play safe
but
while on the topic I'm curious to know...
has anyone ever got any nasties or worse
the dreaded big H?
by going bareback with someone they've met through SH?
just curious rolleyes
Nice ending wbb cool
I don't get many 'thanks but no thanks' replies from women or couples, but when I do, as I did today, it's much appreciated smile
It does get frustrating sometimes as I don't get replies to most of the ads I respond to, and sometimes I put soooo much effort into it only to get zilch.
Then again I'm not desperate, and it's impossible to tell how someone you don't know and have never met is going to take your reply.
Personally I'd hit the delete button, put 'em on block and never reply to them again - they'd soon go away.
tigerbee 8-)
Most of these ladies don't meet with men they don't know, and if they do, it's because the guy comes with a personal recommendation from someone they know and trust. They don't bother with the ad system any more. They make friends in the forum and the chatroom and at munches first, before they agree to meet.
So, what's the point of the ad's system?
rolleyes
Mine were, and this is the truth:
'Ernie (and he drove the fastest milkcar in the west)' redface
by Benny Hill (hey, I was only about 8!);
and 'My Ding a Ling' by the greatest Chuck Berry :-) cool
me and little bruvver played both a times in 3 days
:P
I empathise, it happened to me a few times when I was younger, now wiser not to fall for it.. rolleyes also good of you to report it...
...as it happens there ARE, sadly, people trying to con through the ads on this site, i reported one to the mods today and they've been removed (thanks mods), so beware
Basically the 'person' (supposedly a 19 year old girl, who is quite hot in the pic but how do we know it's real, it could be from a porn site), after you express interest, asks you to pay for the hotel room and pay for their train fare to the hotel 48 hours beforehand, saying they can't meet you at your house, you can't travel to theirs, and they won't pick you up etc.
This 'person' goes by the name of 'becki'.
Well if the guy has to pay all that why not just pop into a 'massage parlour', tons of them in Manchester *sigh* confused
So obviously a scam and of course it went straight to the mods.
This shouldn't take anything away from this site, which is brilliant; get a lot of timewasters, but if you can hack through all that, I have met people through here and had the time of my life :-) and for that it's worth it...just as long as you take care.
tiger cool
yeah, maybe I've not been very clear, but that's what I meant - it's not us doing it to each other etc, but the virus smile what I meant was a person created the virus in the first place to do this, and thats sad mad
i endorse the wise thinkers - for a couple of months now email viruses with attachments are being sent to my circle of friends via other friends emails! The friend doesn't actually send the virus itself, the hacker is doing that (how low can you get?), but it makes you think it's an email from a genuine friend. Most of them are zip files with a single line like 'your data is attached' or 'read this!' etc.
crickey we are just ordinary group of friends; not a big bank or other instituion; where do these people get off?!
i wouldn't open an attachments unless I was really expecting it, and if you're not sure, email the person and ask if they sent it.
