A comment on modern life? Mmmm
Alex.......no word of a lie but if its the one I think his name was Guildo Horn!
Who says the Germans don't have a sense of humour!
The joy of Eurovision, especially with ceefax 888 lol!
Such costumes, such fantastic links between songs, such wit from TW!
I hear they've changed the rules and no one is allowed to make disparaging remarks about another nation - seems some of the Baltic countries got upset with TW over the last couple of years and don't understand the trure nature of Eurovision lol!
I do SO hope he ignores them! If I must watch it with 'her royal highness' then I want to enjoy the banter! lol
Anyone got any personal favourities from the past years? lol Go on be brave! You've admited to swinging, the next step is to admiting that you actually watch and ENJOY Eurovision! Wadde Hadde Dudde Da! lol
Hi Don
I was reading your post......and SO identified with all of it! Well the emotional bits as I don't play instruments or jump from planes etc.....but everything else.....so true my man, so true.
I'm sure you'll be welcomed by so many....as was I when I 'delurked' ....fab people.
I may not surf and join in as much as some but each time am made to feel welcome as I'm sure will you!
God I love this place.....and more importantly the people!
redface I can't torment you any longer and you're getting bored!
I'm getting my passport and leaving the country now.......lol
It's Eurovision 2004!
I know, I know, I know......but my mrs loves it! To the extent that she's searched and found every Eurovision final song in mp3 format from all the countries since 1989 and is working her way backwards through the 80's!
She's started her 2004 collection! So I may not get on here as much as I'd want to over next few weeks lol! Must set up a network at home so can share the net connection!
My unreserved apologies to all! lol
'fraid not RockyHorror - 15th May is a Saturday ....and it ain't anything to do with football!

Nope tim-jas
God I'd better change my profile as people will come hunting me to slap me when all is revealed! lol
Oh dear - everyone is going to be so disappointed! LOL
But it is just great fun (for some!) and a national event!
Reaching for the diary Redhot? lol
You won't find it listed!

But for my mrs it's the highlight of the year! lol
Nope - lol - honestly you'll go "Oh! No!" when the answer is revealed!
Competition time......
Guess what happens on 15th May 2004
(it's fun......not as wild as you may be thinking!)
Arti - if only I was as noble as a griffon! lol
But I feel honoured!
Good luck Sappho, just think of all those books you can now buy with all that saved money........you can even expand your collection of 32 dictionaries! (Did that start from wanting to check the spelling of one word in a dictionary in another and suddenly you find yourself in some Orwellian hell? - lol)
Better than an "Afternoon Play" I was gripped! Willing the outcome to be a happy one!
Ever thought of writting for soap operas?
No no no Heather, it was his younger brother Contortionist that said that!
Crickey! Have a week off and the world changes! Really threw me for a moment but site looks so slick lol
Top job Mark!
Hi Heather - I'm an infrequent poster but if the recommendations above from people I respect are anything to go by, then this site has suddenly become richer in its depth of love, passion and comradship with your return.
I'm babbling now, so I'll lie down and ponder! lol
Poetry is the art of substantiating shadows,
and of lending existance to
nothing...Edmund Burk
Poetry comes nearer to vital truth than
history...Plato
Sounds like a great idea to me!
Good Luck Sappho
Good things to good people.....
Always willing to talk! lol
Quote by Sappho

Mmmmm how about a salsa lesson!
You can laugh yourselves stupid at each other (unless one of you just happens to be an ex member of Nigel Lythgo's 'Young Generation' - lol ) and humour is so much of an aphrodisiac plus having made such 'asses' of yourselves (well I would!) you can't help but appreciate each other finer ass's!
LOL
Have fun whatever
A man walked into a supermarket with his zipper down.
A lady cashier walked up to him and said, "Your barracks door is open."
This is not a phrase men normally use, so he went on his way looking a bit puzzled.
When he was about done shopping, a man came up and said, "Your fly is open." He zipped up and finished his shopping. He then intentionally got in the line to check out where the lady was that told him about his
"barracks door." He was planning to have a little fun with her.
When he reached her counter he said, "When you saw my barracks door open did you see a soldier standing in there at attention?"
The lady (being smarter than a man...of course) thought for a moment and said, "No...no I didn't. All I saw was a disabled veteran sitting on two duffel bags."

Don't think the described person can be free at the moment as they are too busy processing their application for funding from the Equal Opoortunities Commision - you see they're a special case minority group!
