There seems to be two different sorts of people in this thread (and I've just skimmed over it since my earlier post).
1. Those who want something discreet, that tells those already in the know what kind of thing they may like to get up to.
2. Those who want something more overt that will undoubtedly lead to questions from all and sundry.
Perhaps people should decide which they want, either/or, or both.
72mm?!
That's , or 2.8 inches!
Most impressive, I don't have any hair on my body that long!
Of course Robbie Williams will win, not because he deserves it but because the likes of Joy Division aren't really known to the current generation.
I found the whole signing on procedure, etc, to be utterly demoralising and depressing. It just made being out of work harder to deal with. You're under enough self imposed preassure to get work without having the spanish inquisition when you go to sign on. Oh, so, yeah, it is odd you weren't quizzed. I was. You should also be permitted to find a job within your chosen area then if you have no luck after a few weeks, they will tell you to be less choosy.
Hope you find work soon, good luck!
I've so far avoided serious injury.
I once chipped a bone in my foot when a car ran into me on my push bike. I found a chipped bone to be surprisingly painful. (that was my second time being hit by a car, the first time I just had very big and juicy cuts and bruises)
I've given up with my wireless network at home. Internet access through my laptop was worse than dial-up, not to mention the lost MSN messages and frequent disconnection/reconnection issues with it. The connection was even worse when the laptop was running on battery power.
I usually run through a router that acts as a firewall, I also use a software firewall as well as adaware and another spyware thing I forget the name of.
11 times a day every day isn't too much is it?
Is it?!
If you block someone on MSN, do you appear offline to those people?
Buy new hard drive, clean install to that, get some drive recovery software, use that to recover that which is wanted on the other drive.
That's the way I've always dealt with problems with windows no longer wanting to play.
Shower. If it wasn't for the shower breaking when I was living in Croydon 4 years back I'd have probably gone some 15 to 20 years without a bath by now!
(took me 6 months of badgering to get it fixed, too!)
edit: That's not to say I don't like lazing around in water but, for the purpose of getting clean, it's a shower for me.
Mine:
At home - an image of earth at night constructed from photos taken by satellite - image found on a NASA site somewhere, probably got it bookmarked somewhere. The source image is very big!:
