What does this say about me? Probably that I spend far too much money on DVD box sets.
Don't ask about CD box sets. I shudder to think how many of them I've got.
Desi and I have been there a few times over the last couple of weeks (we're 30 minutes away). It is mainly a naturist venue. As far as the swinging side of things is concerned, they have parties on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings. There is a couples only room, a few lockable private rooms and the cabins for overnight stays.
The woods are there and there can be play in there. It can be a bit 'hit or miss' and to be honest, a lot of the play in the woods is m/m. You can see f/m play (if you're lucky!) but the majority of stuff seems to be blokes. You will find plenty of guys wondering about the woods looking for stuff that may be going on. I've found that they are polite and won't push themselves on anybody who's playing and will wait to be invited to join in. Having said that, they can be a bit 'full on' and get as close as possible to anybody who's playing. A firm "no" will usually suffice.
That's what I've found over the last 2 or 3 weeks, anyway.
Hiya.
Do you have access to the chatrooms? They can be great for going in and introducing yourself and getting to know people. They can seem a bit intimidating at first but stick with it.
Another idea is to try a Social. They are advertised elsewhere on the forum and what happens is that whoever is organising it hires a room and a DJ. Then people go and meet face to face rather than online, chat, drink, dance, act daft etc. There's no play involved. Anything that may happen takes place at hotels afterwards, if you feel like it. There's no pressure involved at all.
Hope this helps.
Not stand up comedians but definately two of the funniest men ever are Laurel & Hardy. Their short 2-reeler films are 80 years old now, but I still laugh whenever I watch them.
Another vote for Bill Hicks. I got a cd-rom featuring everything he ever did, including the banned Letterman appearance that was mentioned before.
I'm also a big fan of Eddie Izzard, Billy Connolly, Ross Noble and Spike Milligan. I saw Spike live on two occasions and both times, I left the theatre will tears rolling down my face and a stomach ache from laughing so hard.
Happy Birthday, dude. Hope you're having a great 'un.
Loving the revisionism in here.
Thatcher 'won' the elections but never with an overwhelming majority. Her (The Tories) figures were 43.9% (1979), 42.4% (1983) and 42.2% (1987). Each time, the turnout was about 70% of the population. So technically, only about 3 in 10 of the people voted for her.
The reason why Blair paid such a tribute is because he has admitted previously that she was his 'political hero'. She was one of the first people he invited to Number 10 when he became PM, much to the disgust of Labour party activists, particularly in the North.
A lot of this is just 'sabre rattling' from North Korea.
The statement about them being at war with South Korea is just words. Technically, the two countries have been at war for 60 years. There was no peace treaty ever signed at the end of the Korean War.
Yes, NK has nuclear weapons, but according to what I've read, they can just barely reach the West Coast of The US. Alaska has more chance of being hit than Washington and New York. If they try going towards Europe, they fall on Iran.
This is a link to a BBC map of the threat from NK's nukes.
Yes, they do. I've spent many hours at Chams and spoken to may people and a lot of single blokes have admitted to using the 'little blue pills'. Quite a few have said half a tab works better than a full tab as it gives them a really big headache.
Condolences to you and your family and friends for your very sad loss, Bunny.

In my opinion, it should be illegal to cover certain songs. Scissor Sisters version of Comfortably Numb only reinforces that. But I do usually like covers that try to do something different to the originals. Among some of my faves are;
Out On The Weekend - The Men Of Porn's reconstruction of the old Neil Young song.
Raining Blood - Tori Amos' piano ballad take on Slayer's thrash classic
Dreamweaver - Crowbar. A sludge remake of Gary Young's soft rock 70's hit.
The Easy All-Stars dub reggae version of Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon album.
Summer Breeze - Type O Negative's goth/doom version of the Seal & Croft/Isley Brothers hit.
Joe Cocker's slow blues re-interpration of The Beatles' With A Little Help From My Friends.
Jimi Hendrix making Dylan's All Along The Watchtower his own (see also Johnny Cash doing the same with Nine Inch Nails' Hurt).
Saints.
We need the patience of... with some people
:twisted:
Idolum by Ufomammut.
Heavy psych/doom from Italy.
Back In Black Redux.
A various artists reworking of the classic AC/DC album featuring the likes of The Urban Voodoo Machine, Crippled Black Phoenix, The Quireboys and The Union among others. I found it in my cd cabinet and thought I'd give it a listen.
...And Justice For All - Metallica
Got my funeral music planned.
Stargazer by Rainbow (my all-time favourite track)as everybody files in.
Then La Villa Strangiato by Rush for the "few moments of contemplation".
Then finally, as I'm disappearing to wherever I choose to go, it's Life by Devin Townsend with it's chorus hook of "see you on the other side".
Epicloud - The Devin Townsend Project.
Prince Harry's stag party's going to be a bit weird.
Imagine stuffing pictures of your gran into a lap dancer's knickers.
Going to have to knock this one on the head, unfortunately. A couple of reasons mean that this is not going to happen for Desi and me.
Have fun though, everybody.
A brilliant night.
Many thanks for all your efforts, Pink & Blue.
It was great to meet new people in a new (for us) venue.
One last comment; Only 8 out of 32 single males bothered to show up. Is it any wonder people don't take them seriously?
Some kids are intelligent and want to learn and do well in life, so they pay attention at school, go to college then onto university, while others simply can't be bothered.
A few years back, Desi (my wife) worked as a teacher's assistant at a school supervising 13-14 year olds and their attitude was summed up by one girl in particular. She said "I don't need to learn about anything, I'm going to go on The X Factor when I'm 16 and become famous". That was an actual quote and you would not believe how prevalent that attitude is.
Just been out and bought 50 shades of grey. I can honestly say it does not turn me on in the slightest. I just hope B&Q let me return all this f**king paint.
I've got one that says;
I'm up and dressed. What more do you want?
And I bought Desi one that says;
I have the patience of a saint... St Cunty McFuckoff
